What is CVE-2025-13884?

The Hide Email Address plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the 'inline_css' parameter within the bg-hide-email-address shortcode. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitation and output escaping of user-supplied attributes, enabling authenticated attackers with Contributor-level permissions or higher to inject and execute malicious web scripts on compromised pages viewed by users. All versions equal to or earlier than 0.1 are affected.
