What is CVE-2025-13961?

The Data Visualizer plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-provided attributes associated with the 'visualize' shortcode. Authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability by injecting arbitrary scripts into pages. These scripts then execute in the browser of any user who accesses the compromised page, potentially leading to data theft, session hijacking, or unauthorized actions on behalf of the affected user.
