CVE-2025-13972
4.9MEDIUM
What is CVE-2025-13972?
The WatchTowerHQ plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with administrator access to read arbitrary files on the server. This is due to inadequate path validation in the handle_big_object_download_request function, specifically when using the 'wht_download_big_object_origin' parameter. As a result, attackers can exploit this flaw to gain access to sensitive information, including database credentials and authentication keys, compromising the integrity of the site's security.
