What is CVE-2025-14029?
The Community Events plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows unauthorized data modification. This issue arises due to the absence of a capability check in the ajax_admin_event_approval() function, affecting all versions up to 1.5.6. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this flaw to approve arbitrary events by manipulating the 'eventlist' parameter, posing a serious risk to the integrity of event approvals within the affected plugin.
