What is CVE-2025-14039?

The Simple Folio plugin for WordPress is subject to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability, which arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the '_simple_folio_item_client_name' and '_simple_folio_item_link' meta fields. This issue affects all versions up to and including 1.1.1. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary scripts into pages. When these compromised pages are accessed by users, the injected scripts may execute, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data exposure.
