What is CVE-2025-14120?

The URL Image Importer plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to lack of proper sanitization for SVG file uploads. This vulnerability allows authenticated users with Author-level permissions and higher to inject and execute arbitrary web scripts within the site. When users access the compromised SVG files, these scripts execute, potentially leading to significant security risks and data exposure.
