What is CVE-2025-14121?

The EDD Download Info plugin for WordPress suffers from a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the 'edd_download_info_link' shortcode. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 1.1. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this weakness to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, potentially compromising the security of users accessing the affected content.
