What is CVE-2025-14132?

The Category Dropdown List plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping involving the $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] variable. As a result, attackers can exploit this flaw to inject malicious web scripts into pages that execute when a user is tricked into taking certain actions, such as clicking on an enticing link.
