What is CVE-2025-14167?

The Remove Post Type Slug plugin for WordPress suffers from a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability across all versions up to and including 1.0.2. The flaw is attributed to a malfunctioning nonce validation process, where incorrect use of logical operators leads to failures in input verification. This misconfiguration allows unauthorized attackers to craft unsolicited requests, potentially altering the post type slug removal settings without needing proper authentication. Attackers may exploit this vulnerability by deceiving site administrators into performing specific actions, such as clicking on malicious links.
