The Awesome Hotel Booking plugin for WordPress is susceptible to unauthorized data modification due to improper authorization checks in the room-single.php shortcode handler. This vulnerability arises from the plugin's reliance on nonce verification alone, without implementing necessary capability checks. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this weakness to alter booking records by acquiring a nonce from the public booking form, leading to potential data integrity issues.
