What is CVE-2025-1437?

The Advanced iFrame plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'advanced_iframe' shortcode. This issue allows authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into web pages. When these compromised pages are accessed, the injected scripts can execute in the context of the user's browser, potentially leading to data theft or session hijacking.
