What is CVE-2025-14449?

The BA Book Everything plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through its babe-search-form shortcode found in all versions up to and including 1.8.14. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary JavaScript into web pages. Such scripts execute whenever a user accesses an affected page, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
