What is CVE-2025-1456?

The Royal Elementor Addons and Templates plugin for WordPress contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in its widgetGrid, widgetCountDown, and widgetInstagramFeed methods. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. The malicious scripts then execute when users access affected pages, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
