What is CVE-2025-14796?

The My Album Gallery plugin for WordPress allows authenticated users with Author-level permissions and above to exploit a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of the 'attachment->title' attribute, enabling attackers to embed malicious scripts in image titles. When users subsequently access pages containing these scripts, their browsers will execute the injected web content, potentially compromising user sessions or leaking sensitive information.
