What is CVE-2025-14904?

The Newsletter Email Subscribe plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) due to improper nonce validation in the nels_settings_page function. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to alter plugin configurations by sending forged requests. If an attacker manages to deceive a site administrator into executing a compromised action, they can manipulate the plugin's settings without requiring user credentials.
