What is CVE-2025-14971?

The Link Invoice Payment for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress presents a vulnerability that allows unauthorized modification of order data. Due to a lack of proper capability checks implemented in the createPartialPayment and cancelPartialPayment functions, attackers can exploit this flaw to initiate partial payments or cancel existing ones without authentication, potentially leading to financial loss and misuse of resources. This issue affects all versions up to and including 2.8.0.
