What is CVE-2025-14978?
The PeachPay plugin for WooCommerce contains a vulnerability allowing for unauthorized modifications of order statuses. This issue arises from inadequate capability checks on the ConvesioPay webhook REST endpoint, exposing all versions up to and including 1.119.8 to possible exploitation. Without proper validation, attackers, even unauthenticated, can manipulate WooCommerce orders, which poses a significant risk to e-commerce operations. Store owners are advised to update to the latest version and ensure security measures are in place.
