What is CVE-2025-15043?

The Events Calendar plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with subscriber or higher access to perform unauthorized actions. This flaw arises from a missing capability check in the 'start_migration', 'cancel_migration', and 'revert_migration' functions. As a result, attackers can initiate, halt, or revert the migration of Custom Tables V1, potentially leading to the complete deletion of custom database tables through the revert action.
