What is CVE-2025-15055?

The SlimStat Analytics plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'notes' and 'resource' parameters. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 5.3.4, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts. When an administrator views the Recent Custom Events report, these scripts can execute, potentially compromising site integrity and user data.
