What is CVE-2025-15100?
The JAY Login & Register plugin for WordPress allows attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to exploit a vulnerability in the 'jay_panel_ajax_update_profile' function. This flaw enables them to modify arbitrary user meta, effectively allowing authenticated users to escalate their privileges to that of an administrator. This impacts all versions of the plugin up to and including 2.6.03, posing a significant security risk for WordPress sites utilizing this plugin.
