What is CVE-2025-1524?

The Ultimate Dashboard plugin for WordPress, prior to version 3.8.6, is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate sanitization and escaping of various settings. This flaw allows high privilege users, including administrators, to exploit the system and execute malicious scripts. Notably, this vulnerability can be exploited even when the unfiltered_html capability is turned off, such as in multisite configurations, posing significant security risks to websites utilizing the plugin.
