Summary

The Ultimate Dashboard plugin for WordPress, prior to version 3.8.6, is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This vulnerability arises due to improper sanitization and escaping of certain settings. It allows high-privilege users, such as administrators, to inject malicious scripts, even in environments where the unfiltered_html capability is restricted, such as multisite setups. Attackers could exploit this flaw to deliver harmful content to users, compromising site integrity and user trust.
