What is CVE-2025-1527?
The ShopLentor plugin for WordPress, which integrates with WooCommerce for enhanced e-commerce functionality, has a vulnerability that allows for Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting. This security weakness resides in the Flash Sale Countdown module, where insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes can be exploited. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and higher can inject malicious web scripts into pages. These scripts execute whenever an unsuspecting user accesses an affected page, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
