What is CVE-2025-15669?
The Bit Form plugin for WordPress, prior to version 3.1.4, suffers from a vulnerability where it fails to properly sanitize a critical conversational-form display setting before rendering. This oversight allows users with elevated privileges—specifically administrators lacking the unfiltered_html capability on multisite installations—to inject malicious JavaScript. As a result, any visitor who views the manipulated form risks having the malicious script executed in their browser.
Affected Version(s)
Bit Form 0 < 3.1.4
Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
