Summary

The GDPR Cookie Compliance plugin for WordPress prior to version 4.15.7 contains a flaw where certain settings are not properly sanitized and escaped. This oversight can enable high-privileged users, such as administrators, to conduct Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. Notably, this vulnerability can occur even when the unfiltered_html capability is restricted, as seen in multisite environments, thereby posing a risk to website integrity and user trust.
