What is CVE-2025-1669?
The WPSchoolPress plugin for WordPress is susceptible to SQL injection through its 'addNotify' action, affecting all versions up to and including 2.2.16. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input validation and escaping of user-supplied parameters, which allows authenticated attackers with teacher-level privileges to seamlessly inject additional SQL commands into pre-existing queries. Such actions could enable malicious actors to extract sensitive data from the database, posing a significant risk to user privacy and data integrity.
