What is CVE-2025-20703?

A vulnerability in the modem software from MediaTek allows for an out of bounds read due to incorrect bounds checking. This flaw can be exploited by an attacker operating a rogue base station, resulting in a potential remote denial of service without the need for user interaction. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to apply relevant patches as specified in the product security bulletin.
