What is CVE-2025-20713?

The MediaTek WLAN AP driver suffers from an out of bounds write vulnerability due to an inadequate bounds check. This flaw enables a malicious actor with existing System privileges to escalate their privileges without requiring user interaction. The issue can allow unauthorized access to sensitive system areas, potentially leading to further exploits or control over the device.
