What is CVE-2025-20782?
A serious vulnerability exists in MediaTek software that allows for an out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This flaw enables local escalation of privilege, which can be exploited by a malicious actor who has already gained system privileges. Notably, no user interaction is required for this exploitation, heightening the risk associated with this vulnerability.
