What is CVE-2025-20794?
In the Mediatek Modem, a vulnerability exists due to improper input validation that can lead to a system crash. This issue allows an attacker to exploit a remote denial of service scenario if a user equipment (UE) connects to a hostile base station. Notably, this exploitation does not require user interaction nor additional execution privileges, making it a significant risk for users connected to vulnerable devices.
