What is CVE-2025-2167?

The Event Post plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate sanitization and escaping of user-supplied attributes in its 'events_list' shortcodes. This flaw allows authenticated users with contributor-level or higher access to inject malicious web scripts into pages.
