What is CVE-2025-23586?

A cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in the NotFound WP Post Category Notifications plugin, allowing attackers to inject malicious scripts via improper input handling during web page generation. Affected versions include releases up to and including 1.0. Those vulnerabilities can potentially enable an attacker to execute scripts in the contexts of users’ browsers, leading to session hijacking or unauthorized actions.
