What is CVE-2025-26576?
The WP Simple Slideshow plugin by Takumin is susceptible to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue due to improper input neutralization during web page generation. This vulnerability allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts that may be reflected back to the user, potentially compromising session cookies, sensitive information, or executing arbitrary actions on behalf of the user. Affected versions include those prior to 1.0.
