What is CVE-2025-2685?
The TablePress plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting attack through the 'table-name' parameter. Due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, this vulnerability allows authenticated users with Author-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts. These scripts will run when a user visits a page that has been compromised, posing significant risks to site security and user safety.
