What is CVE-2025-3077?
The Betheme theme for WordPress is prone to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability through the Button shortcode and Custom CSS field. This issue arises due to insufficient sanitization of user inputs and improper escaping of output. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level privileges can exploit this flaw to inject arbitrary scripts into pages. Consequently, these scripts are executed whenever users visit the compromised pages, posing serious risks to their security and data confidentiality.
