Order Replay Vulnerability in Contact Form 7 for WordPress
CVE-2025-3247
What is CVE-2025-3247?
The Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an Order Replay vulnerability due to inadequate validation within the 'wpcf7_stripe_skip_spam_check' function. This issue affects all versions up to and including 6.0.5, allowing unauthenticated attackers to exploit a single Stripe PaymentIntent and reuse it for multiple transactions. While Stripe processes only the initial transaction, the plugin erroneously sends out confirmation emails for each transaction, potentially misleading administrators into fulfilling orders that were not legitimately completed.
