What is CVE-2025-34084?
The BoldGrid Backup plugin for WordPress suffers from an unauthenticated information disclosure vulnerability which allows unauthorized users to access sensitive server information. Prior to version 1.14.10, the plugin exposes endpoints that enable anyone with knowledge of the paths to retrieve server configuration details and backup metadata. This includes the possibility of downloading full SQL database dumps and accessing critical filesystem paths to the latest backups. Such information could be exploited for offline password cracking or credential stuffing attacks, significantly compromising user data security.
