CVE-2025-3458
5.4MEDIUM
What is CVE-2025-3458?
The Ocean Extra plugin for WordPress suffers from a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through the 'ocean_gallery_id' parameter. This issue arises due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These malicious scripts execute whenever users access the compromised pages. This vulnerability requires that the Classic Editor plugin is also installed and activated to be exploited effectively.
