Summary

The SureForms WordPress plugin prior to version 1.4.4 has a flaw where certain Form settings are not properly sanitized and escaped. This oversight allows users with high privileges, such as administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks, even in setups where the unfiltered_html capability is restricted, such as in multisite installations. Site administrators should ensure they are running the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.

Affected Version(s)

SureForms 0 < 1.4.4

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
