What is CVE-2025-3662?

The FancyBox for WordPress plugin versions prior to 3.3.6 is vulnerable to an Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) flaw. This occurs due to the failure to properly escape captions and title attributes when they are utilized to populate the captions in galleries. Attackers can exploit this weakness to inject malicious scripts, compromising website integrity and user data. Website administrators are advised to update to the latest version to mitigate potential security risks.
