What is CVE-2025-3844?
The PeproDev Ultimate Profile Solutions plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass authentication. Due to improper restrictions in the handel_ajax_req() function regarding the change_user_meta capability, it is possible for an attacker to set and use a One-Time Password (OTP) code. This flaw enables unauthorized access as a different user, which may include gaining administrative privileges, exposing sensitive user data and increasing the risk of further exploitation.
