What is CVE-2025-3852?
The WPshop 2 β E-Commerce plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a privilege escalation flaw, allowing authenticated attackers to manipulate user account details. This issue arises from inadequate validation of user identity during updates to critical account information such as email and password. Attackers with subscriber-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to change the passwords of any user, including administrators, potentially compromising entire accounts and sensitive data.
