What is CVE-2025-4055?
The Multiple Post Type Order plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the 'mpto' shortcode. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access can exploit this issue to inject arbitrary web scripts into affected pages. Consequently, these scripts will execute whenever users access the compromised pages, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data theft.
