What is CVE-2025-4216?

The DIOT SCADA with MQTT plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with contributor-level access and above to exploit stored cross-site scripting. This occurs through inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on 'diot' shortcode attributes. As a result, attackers can inject malicious web scripts into pages that will execute whenever a user visits the compromised page, potentially leading to unauthorized access and data manipulation.
