What is CVE-2025-4523?
The IDonate plugin for WordPress suffers from a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with Subscriber-level access or higher to bypass restrictions on the admin_donor_profile_view() function. This flaw enables them to access sensitive information, including the administrator’s username, email address, and various donor details. The lack of proper capability checks puts user data at risk, necessitating immediate attention to affected versions from 2.0.0 to 2.1.9.
