What is CVE-2025-4584?
The IRM Newsroom plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through its 'irmeventlist' shortcode. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes. As a result, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, leading to potential exploitation whenever a user visits an affected page.
