What is CVE-2025-4586?
The IRM Newsroom plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability through its 'irmcalendarview' shortcode. This issue exists due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute for users accessing the affected pages, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
