What is CVE-2025-4601?
The RH - Real Estate WordPress Theme, developed by Inspyre, is susceptible to a Privilege Escalation vulnerability that affects all versions up to and including 4.4.0. The issue originates from insufficient restrictions on user roles during the execution of the inspiry_update_profile() function. This flaw allows authenticated users with subscriber-level access or higher to elevate their permissions to that of an administrator. A patch was partially applied in version 4.4.0 and fully resolved in version 4.4.1, hence users are advised to update their themes promptly to mitigate potential unauthorized access.
