What is CVE-2025-4654?
The Soumettre.fr plugin for WordPress is susceptible to security issues stemming from inadequate authorization checks on the make_signature function. This vulnerability impacts all versions up to and including 2.1.5. An effective exploit allows unauthenticated attackers to create, edit, or delete Soumettre posts, particularly in setups where the soumettre account is not connected with an API key. This could lead to significant unauthorized actions on the site.
