What is CVE-2025-4666?
The Zotpress plugin for WordPress is exposed to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through the ‘nickname’ parameter. This flaw is present in all versions up to and including 7.3.15 and arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. Authenticated attackers with at least Author-level permissions can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious web scripts into pages. Once injected, these scripts will execute whenever a user accesses the affected page, potentially compromising user data and site security.
